Hi, we're SmartPhish!

Nice to meet you.  Hopefully you're here because you want to learn or teach or both… or give us some money.  Just kidding… but seriously.

Let us tell you something about us.  We think learning should be as fun, stress free and non time consuming as possible.  We also think everybody should get A's and can get A's if they have the right teacher.  Plus, who knows, you might even be able to start tutoring the stuff yourself and make some sweet moolah. 

Also, we think good teachers rock and bad teachers are bad.  Basically we love good teachers.  We want you to be able to show your stuff, teach the bestest students and get paid for your work.  We want to make teaching as convenient as possible so we are constantly building tools that will help make your job easier and help you reach more students. 

Meet the Team

Scott Harper- Founder and CEO

Previously, before SmartPhish, Scott was involved in a several ventures; one on the web, the others not.  He was a student at one point in his life and liked to study as little as possible while still learning and earning A's… sometimes.  He was also a tutor and helped unconfuse many a college student.  He is now building a site where students can get help learning and tutors can build a business - it's called SmartPhish.  Have you heard of it?

Greg Smith- Co-Founder/CTO/Master of the Interwebs

Greg loves technology more than Kip Dynamite.  He is a master of all that is related to the interwebs and time travel. Greg can program everything on the web in 50% of the technologies half of the time.  He is also a third degree black belt at managing engineers.  In a former life he ran a company that built Mac peripherals and the company made (and spent!) many millions doing so.  Greg is building a hover board in his spare time.

Our Advisors

DJ Burdick

DJ is the CTO and a co-founder of a company called Oneseason.com.  They recently raised $3.5 million from Charles River Ventures.  He is very passionately in love with technology which sometimes makes his girlfriend jealous.  DJ also ran the popular music site iSound.com in a former life. 

Anthony Davis

Anthony is the Founder and CEO of 2GOSoftware Solutions.  They build mobile software for businesses and are absolutely killing it.  He has a lot of experience raising venture money for startups so hopefully he'll bring some of that our way.  Anthony is currently trying to leapfrog Sony by building the Playstation 5.  We like Anthony.
